Volusia County Sheriff's Office

Mubashar Choudry, 53, was arrested after a flight to Daytona Beach, Fla., on Monday night.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. A 53-year-old man was arrested in Daytona Beach as he exited a US Airways flight Monday night, NBC affiliate WESH-TV reports.

Investigators said Mubashar Choudry was drinking on a flight from Charlotte, N.C., to Daytona Beach when he allegedly began to sexually harass a young female passenger.

Volusia County authorities said he was very explicit about what he wanted to do to the woman. People around Choudry on the flight, including mothers of children, asked flight attendants to move them to other seats.

When the flight crew tried to subdue Choudry, they said he became belligerent.

Choudry was charged with disorderly intoxication.
